If you’ve discovered your ideal role here at Nobia, and are wondering what happens after you apply, here’s what you can expect - from your initial application right through to your first day at work.

  • Step 1 – Apply

      If you’ve found a role to suit your skills and expertise or want to register for job alerts, you can do all of this online. Simply register, complete all the necessary fields and upload your CV - you’ll then receive an automatic email confirming that we’ve received your details. We’ll then review your application, and if we think that the role isn’t right for you we’ll let you know as soon as we can by email.

  • Step 2 – Telephone or Microsoft Teams Interview

      If we think you have the right skills and experience, we’ll give you a call to discuss the role and book an interview. The interviews can take anything from 15 minutes to an hour depending on what type of role you’ve applied for, and it’s a great opportunity for us to provide further information, for you to ask questions, and for us to gain further insight into your previous roles and capabilities. 


      Our initial interviews follow a very similar format to a traditional face-to-face interview, so it’s really helpful if you’re somewhere quiet and free from any distractions or interruptions. During the call we’ll also assess your skills by talking through your experience and asking some competency-based questions. Again, if you are unsuccessful at this stage, we’ll let you know as soon as we can by email and are happy to provide further feedback if needed.

  • Step 3 – Face-to-face interview

      If your initial interview goes well, we’ll invite you to a face to face interview with your potential manager to discuss the job in more detail. You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to learn more about us and where you would be working. If, for any reason, you can’t make it to an interview, or you need to change the date, please let us know as soon as you can.

      After the interview we’ll be in touch to discuss feedback and to keep you updated on the progress of your application. Depending on the role you’ve applied for, you may be invited back for another interview to meet more members of the team, deliver a presentation, or take part in a further assessment.

  • Step 4 – Offer

      It’s decision time! Our team has been working hard to make the right hiring decision for you and for us. If you’re successful we’ll be in touch to make a verbal offer - if not, we’ll be in touch to provide feedback. If you’re offered the job and you accept it, we’ll quickly follow up with a formal offer letter and a contract, and we’ll also agree on your start date.

  • Step 5 – Joining us

      What your first day looks like will depend on which part of the business you’re joining. You might be invited to attend a virtual welcome event hosted by our Training and Development Team, or you might be asked to start directly at your place of work. Either way, we’ll make sure that everything is in place so you can get your career at Nobia off to a perfect start.
