At Nobia UK, we believe that hard work, commitment and learning are the perfect foundations for a successful career. Which is why we've never been more focused on our apprenticeship programme, and on growing the benefits and opportunities it can bring to young people.
In fact, Magnet was one of the winners at the North East regional final of the National Apprenticeship Awards 2017, with an Apprenticeship Programme that was designed to attract young people into the kitchen industry and grow the next generation of kitchen designers and long term future leaders.
And because the majority of our past Magnet apprentices have now moved on to full roles within our business, they're now adding value to stores across the region.
While in the Yorkshire and Humber region, Rixonway also continues to lead the way when it comes to Apprenticeships, training and career development. As an Apprenticeship Ambassador for the National Apprenticeship Service, the business has worked closely with schools and colleges to recruit young talent for our brilliant programme since 2010.
What you can expect as a Nobia apprentice
Join us as an apprentice and you'll be assigned both a mentor and a representative from our training partners when you start. That means you'll not only have the opportunity to complete any work associated with your qualification, but you'll also receive all the support you need to get the most out of your role.
You'll build your skills and knowledge, you'll learn how to work efficiently and successfully, and you'll be able to aim for the ultimate goal of landing a brilliant job at the end of your programme.
In the words of Emma, a recent apprentice: "The programme has helped me to communicate better with customers, build my presentation skills, and grow my confidence and knowledge within the company. It has opened up opportunities for an exciting career with Magnet, either designing kitchens or progressing my skills and potential further."
There are currently no apprenticeship opportunities available. Check back soon for details of our 2018 programme.
